Right out of the box, Curve skis made my sled rail without any adjustment to the factory setup. In the past, I've changed out carbides only to make the sled dart more with the longer carbides. In loose packed trails, the machine would push in the turns forcing me to slow down, and I'd simply watch my buddies drive away from me. Now, with Curve skis darting is virtually eliminated on hard packed trails. In corners, the skis are responsive to where I turn without giving me the feeling that the machine would tip over. There is a tremendous amount of bite, but a balanced control through the turn. These skis have completely changed my opinion of my sled's capabilities. I'll likely keep this machine a longer than previous planned. There is just that much of an improvement from simply changing the skis. Looks like the next upgrade might be aftermarket shocks and springs. If you have a chance to try these skis at a Test and Tune Curve Industries puts on, you likely be coming home with a pair. There is just that much more of an improvement over factory skis. In addition, customer service and support is top notch after the sale. Curve Industries truly wants to help you get the most out of your machine, not just make a sale. | |
